About Son of Mendel Inc

In 2019, I created Son of Mendel - a company that allowed me to put my dreams into action, inspired by my newborn son. I wanted to start something that would last, and something that would carry through time, sharing a birthday with my son.

The name Son of Mendel I felt brought a personal side to it where it represented a handing down of something for when the wears of time takes its toll on me,

I grew up in Dawson City, Yukon but I did do years 1-4 Electrical at the Okanagan College trades wing in Kelowna, British Columbia and with working in diverse areas of electrical such as involved with 2 substation constructions Meikle Substation near Tumbler Ridge B.C. and the Bipole III Project in northern Manitoba a smelter project in Kitimat Rio Tinto Alcan, a new hard rock gold mine near Fort St James Mount Milligan. I also worked the southern interior of B.C. doing commercial/residential for several contractors over the years

With so much history in Dawson City there are many eras of construction and more in-particularly electrical. Ensuring electrical is safe and up to date in your home of business is our priority and transparency of work needed to be completed prior to start is important. Electrical inspections of your home are important as well because it might have always worked just fine but it doesn't mean its right
